Endangered species

Endangered animals are a species of a animal that there are a couple left. I selected the following the two animals the cougar and the giant panda.

The cougar
is native to Canada, USA, Central America, and some parts of south America.
the cougar is the largest cat in north and south America.
The cougars live in mountains and forests.
The cougar feed on several things such as, deer, elk, moose, caribou and when those animals are on migration the cougars feed on rabbits, mice, lynx, bobcat, beaver, muskrat, duck, etc.
the cougar can be called various names, the cougar, puma, mountain lion, catamount and felis concolor.
Felis concolor is latin for "cat of all one colour"
The cougar is about 6 to 8 feet and weighs about 175 pounds.
The cougar has short fur and the colour can be grey or reddish brown.
There teeth can grow up to 1 1/2 inches long.
Cougars will only attack you if they are sick, are with there kittens or have food with them.
the female cougar gives birth to 3-4 kittens each year at any time. When the kittens are born the weigh about 400g. and they are 300mm long. The cougar is endangered because 2,100 are shot every year. For every female cougar that is shot there kittens might die because they would not be able to live without there mom.
